Carpet Construction

The carpets are woven on our own looms in Somerset, England using a blend of New Zealand and British pure new wool, this is hard wearing and takes colour beautifully. They are woven in approximately 70 -120 cm widths, depending on the design, and can be seamed together to form area rugs of almost any size, or for close covering an area.

Fitting

It is very important that the carpet you choose is properly fitted, which will ensure that it looks good and wears well. Always take the advice of your carpet fitter as to which method is best suited to the location.

Underlay

It is recommended that you always use underlay with our rugs and runners as this reduces wear and keeps them from slipping. There are several types of underlay available, again, please consult your carpet fitter for the most suitable type.

Colour

Due to variations in computer screens and printers you cannot rely on these for accurate colour reproduction, please ask us for samples so that you can see the full richness of the colours .

Some of the colourway close ups are photographs and some are computer generated images.

Delivery Times and Minimum Order Size

 We weave everything to order, which is why it is possible to do special colourways easily, so please allow 8 weeks for delivery.  Our minimum piece size is only 7m.

Samples and Prints

We are happy to send samples so that you can see the colours properly, we aim to send them out the same day by first class post.

If you need to see a design in a special colourway we can do prints and hand weave a small sample to show you how it would look. We can even email you a copy of the print so you can see almost instantly how it will look .
